The joint service council of Jenin (Palestine) is a water service provider which was established in 1998 to be the first water and wastewater council in Palestine in charge of water and wastewater service in 11 towns and municipalities with a total population of 70000 inhabitants, it employs 40 full-time operators, technicians, and engineers.

Part of water reform in Palestine is to establish upscaled service providers, we as joint service council for water and wastewater and after a call for tenders , we have selected the International Office for Water, who have implemented several coherent modules, including local partners interventions in operation of the drinking water facilities and equipment, operation and maintenance of the pumping station and supply network, fight against NRW, reinforcement of the skill to manage properly the submissions, call of tenders, AFD cycle and fidic rules......

We are satisfied with all the training modules since it has the following :

- the capacity of adaption to the local context

- knowledge and understanding of the context, thanks to previous experience in the area

- a good or very good pedagogical approach, mixing smartly theory and practice, including filed practical works

- independence of the IOWater, freedom of speech. The training sessions not flowed or influenced by commercial speeches. All are focused on the understanding of people and their progression.

- good schedules and project management, all the sessions were done in time.

We do recommend IOWater.
